Lighting up the holiday
December 13, 2007

Parents and their children built a giant menorah out of "Clics" (a Lego-like toy) during a Hanukkah celebration Sunday afternoon at Lubavitch Chabad of Northbrook.
It took more than 3,500 blocks to build the six foot tall menorah.
Classic Hanukkah songs, games and treats like latkes and jelly donuts rounded out the celebration.
"We want to bring the spirit of the Hanukkah holiday alive for the kids," stated Rabbi Meir Moscowitz, director of Chabad Northbrook. "These are outstanding moments that they won't soon forget."
